STAR TREK MICRO MACHINES! For those who don't remember, Micro Machines were the original scale miniatures made back in the mid 1980s and throughout the 1990s. Micro Machines were literally that; tiny scale "playsets" and vehicles that were slightly larger than the N Scale train sets. The Star Trek Micro Machines came out from 1993 to 1997. These sets came pre-painted, pre-assembled and were about 3 inches long. The first editions featured ships and stations from the TOS, the Movies, TNG and DS9. When the second edition ships were launched, some new ships were packaged with ships from the first edition. The second editions featured more ships from TOS, the Movies, TNG, DS9 and the first models from Voyager. There were also special ships made, available only as part of three box sets, in which all the models were available .
